PADI Advanced
Open Water Diver - £230 (£280 for the Drysuit option)
Take your diving to the next level with the
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course. The course is designed to follow
on immediately after the Open Water Diver Course; however, we can cater
the course to meet the needs of more experienced divers. It allows
you to sample different diving activities, e.g. deep and wreck diving.
You will gain confidence as your dives will be accompanied by a PADI
Instructor. Once you have completed the course, you will be qualified
to dive to a depth of 30m (21m for Junior Divers).
The course involves home study via your Adventures in Diving Manual,
as well as a Knowledge Development session. You will complete 2 core
dives (compulsory Navigation and Deep dives). For the other 3 dives,
you (with the assistance of your instructor) are able to choose from
a series of elective dives including: Wreck, Naturalist, Multilevel,
Drysuit and Peak Performance Buoyancy.
The Knowledge Development sessions take place in one of our on-site
classrooms. The open water dives take place at either Stoney Cove (Leicestershire),
the National Diving and Activity Centre (Chepstow, Wales) or Gildenburgh
Water (Whittlesey). All the sites are fresh water quarries. Your dives
take place over 2 days and we normally camp or stay in a B&B overnight
(weather depending). Alternatively, you can complete the course on
one of our holidays to the Red Sea. Have a look at our Overseas Holidays
page for details. |
