DSAT Tec Diver Level 1
If you're interested in technical diving, but haven't yet met the pre-requisites for the DSAT Tec Deep Diver Course, you can consider enrolling in the DSAT Tec Diver Course (Level 1). You'll learn to make gas switch, extended no-decompression dives using air and enriched air to 40m. You'll also learn how to prepare and respond to forseeable technical diving emergencies. Since it's part of the Tec Deep Diver Course, your DSAT Tec Diver Course (level 1), credits towards the DSAT Tec Deep Diver Course.
What do I need to start?
- Have a minimum certification of Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
- Be certified as a PADI Enriched Air Diver (or equivalent)
- Be certified as a PADI Deep Diver (or equivalent)
- Show proof of at least 50 logged open water dives (at least 10 using Enriched Air, 12 deeper than 18m and 6 deeper than 30m)
- Be at least 18 years old

DSAT Tec Deep Diver
The DSAT Tec Deep Diver Course takes you past recreational diving and immerses you in the world of technical diving. After successful completion of the DSAT Tec Deep Diver Course, you'll be able to conduct gas switch extended no-decompression dives, decompression dives and accelerated decompression dives using air and enriched air to a depth of 50m. You'll understand the hazards and risks involved in technical diving, as well as how to prepare for and handle reasonably forseeable technical diving emergencies.
What do I need to start?
- Be certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
- Be certified as a PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent)
- Be certified as a PADI Enriched Air Diver (or equivalent)
- Be certified as a PADI Deep Diver (or equivalent)
- Show proof of at least 100 logged open water dives (at least 20 using Enriched Air, 25 deeper than 18m and 15 deeper than 30m)
